CareerSource Okaloosa Walton is dedicated to connecting job seekers with employment opportunities and providing businesses with skilled talent. They offer a range of services including career counseling, job search assistance, training programs, and recruitment solutions, all aimed at fostering a thriving workforce in the Okaloosa and Walton counties.
The City of Crestview, through its Community Development Block Grant program, plays a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for its residents. Funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the CDBG program supports projects that provide decent housing, create suitable living environments, and expand economic opportunities. The City of Crestview is committed to fostering community development and addressing the needs of low- and moderate-income residents. Through collaboration with local organizations like ours, the City ensures that essential services and resources are accessible to all, promoting a thriving and inclusive community.

The Center for Independent Living of Northwest Florida promotes, educates, facilitates, assists, and advocates with and on behalf of people with disabilities. They offer a wide range of services including assistive technology loans, durable medical equipment loans, youth transition programs, and virtual peer support meetings. Their mission is to empower individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals for independence in partnership with their communities.

Community Bank is a dedicated financial institution with deep roots in the community, dating back 115 years. Known for its exceptional customer service and commitment to local growth, Community Bank offers a wide range of financial services including banking, employee benefits, insurance, and wealth management. With close to $5 billion in assets and a presence across multiple states, Community Bank is not just a financial institution but a community partner. They are committed to strengthening the communities they serve through financial support, in-kind donations, and volunteer service.

The Department of Children and Families (DCF) Economic Self Sufficiency Program is dedicated to promoting strong and economically self-sufficient communities in Florida. This program administers the state’s benefit eligibility for food assistance, temporary cash assistance, Medicaid, and refugee assistance. By providing these essential services, DCF helps individuals and families achieve economic stability and improve their quality of life. Through its partnership with the Crestview Resource Center, the Economic Self Sufficiency Program ensures that vital resources and support are accessible to those in need, fostering a more resilient and thriving community.

First Church of God in Christ is committed to serving both their Eternal Father and the local community. They focus on reaching souls for Christ and working together in ministry to build God’s Kingdom. The church offers various programs and services, including worship services, community outreach, and spiritual guidance.

Florida Department of Health

The Florida Department of Health is dedicated to protecting, promoting, and improving the health of all people in Florida through integrated state, county, and community efforts. The department offers a wide range of services including disease prevention, health education, and emergency preparedness, ensuring the well-being of residents and visitors alike.

Lakeview Center provides mental health and substance abuse support and resources to community members in need.

LSNF is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing free civil legal assistance to low-income individuals and families. They offer a wide range of services including family law, housing, public benefits, consumer law, and elder law. Their mission is to ensure access to justice for those who cannot afford legal representation, helping to protect their rights and improve their quality of life.

Tri-County Community Council

Tri-County Community Council, Inc. is dedicated to helping people help themselves by providing a wide range of community services. Based in Bonifay, FL, the council offers programs aimed at low-income assistance, public transportation, and senior services. Their initiatives include the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), emergency food and shelter, and the Head Start program for early childhood education. The TCCC ensures that essential resources and support are accessible to those in need, fostering self-sufficiency and enhancing the quality of life for residents across Holmes, Walton, and Washington counties.

Emerald Coast Food Rescue

Food insecurity in Okaloosa and Walton County is not improving. The brunt of local hunger is met face-on by struggling feeding programs that rely on reduced subsidies and largely on Emerald Coast Food Rescue’s weekly deliveries. The demand for Emerald Coast Food Rescue’s operation has not decreased since COVID. Recipient feeding programs are serving more individuals every month. People cannot afford groceries. Especially large families.

We Reign Sickle Cell Corporation is dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals affected by sickle cell disease. They provide education, advocacy, and support services to patients and their families. Their mission is to raise awareness about sickle cell disease and to promote research for better treatments and a cure. They offer a range of programs including health fairs, support groups, and educational workshops.
The Salvation Army Serving Okaloosa & Walton Counties provides support services and resources to community members in need. Services included utilities and rent support (when funding is available), business attire for job interviews and more, diapers for infants and toddlers, and more.

Crossroads Medical Center, also known as Crossroads Center, Inc., is a non-profit organization in Okaloosa County, Florida, that provides free medical, dental, and counseling services to low-income, uninsured residents. It operates as a free clinic, meaning patients are seen by appointment and services are provided at no cost to those who qualify based on income and insurance status.

For more than 30 years LSF Head Start has been helping children in Florida learn and be prepared for kindergarten by providing no-cost early childhood education to children who may have otherwise been left behind.

Oxford Houses are rented family houses where groups of recovering individuals live together in an environment supportive to recovery from addiction. Each house is self-run and financially self-supported following a standardized system of democratic operation.

The purpose of BCI is to deliver behavioral health care services, maintain the human dignity of every client, meet community support needs, foster low-income housing, work to end homelessness in Okaloosa and Walton counties, provide primary health care services to low-income persons and families, and to continually search for empowering and innovative ways to serve our clients, patients, families, and community.

In partnership with healthcare systems, schools, community-based organizations and more, AHECs employ traditional and innovative approaches to develop and train a diverse healthcare workforce prepared to deliver culturally appropriate, high-quality, team-based care, with an emphasis on primary care for rural and underserved communities
