The Florida Department of Children and Families, Economic Self Sufficiency Program is designed to provide financial support to children and families in low-income communities and situations in need of support. Some of the services offered through the FDCF include access to Medicaid, Food Assistance (SNAP), Temporary Cash Assistance (TSA), and more. Community members wishing to sign-up or access their benefits can visit the free computer lab at the Crestview Resource & Community Development Center every Tuesday through Thursday between the hours of 10:00am and 3:00pm. To sign-up for benefits you will need to provide information such as:
- How many people you live with
- Your income
- Your social security number
- Your address
- Your work history
- Your children and their ages
- Proof of residency
Signing up for benefits is easy and takes about 15 minutes as long as you have the appropriate documentation, a phone number, and an email address. To learn more, visit the Florida Department of Children and Families by clicking here.
