Since 1966, Bridgeway Center, formerly Okaloosa Guidance Clinic, has been serving Okaloosa County and aims to “provide compassionate trauma-informed care, to maintain the human dignity of every person, to meet community support needs, to foster low-income housing, work to end homelessness in Okaloosa and Walton counties, to provide primary health care services to low-income persons and families, and to continually search for empowering and innovative ways to serve our clients, patients, families, and community.” Bridgeway Center provides a variety of services, including:
- Anger Management, Behavioral Medicine, Case Management for Children & Adults, Detoxification Unit (Outpatient), Health Clinics – Primary Car, Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Program, NWFSC – Student Behavioral Health Services, One Hopeful Place, Outpatient Mental Health Therapy, Outpatient Substance Use Counseling, Peer Support, Wellness Centers

These services require a referral: Care Coordination Services, Community Action Treatment (CAT) Team, DUI Program, Forensic Pre-Trial Program, HUD – Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH), Post Overdose Support Team (POST), Treatment for Individuals Experiencing Homelessness Program (TIEH)

Alma Martin (TIEH Behavioral Health Case Manager) and Maya Adkins (TIEH Therapist) are available every Thursday at the CRC.
As of 2020, Crestview was home to 27k people, making the services Bridgeway Center Inc. provides crucial to the wellbeing of our communities here in NWFL. Bridgeway Center provides services to individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD, substance use and addiction, behavioral issues, homelessness, poor impulse control, and thoughts of self-harm or harming others.
With offices in Fort Walton Beach and Crestview, folks from all over the area have access to these services, beyond stopping by the CRC. All individuals are welcome to stop by the Bridgeway Center offices to speak with a front desk representative if they have any questions or would like to obtain services.
