DESCRIPTION:Every Tuesday in August\, Northwest Florida Health Council will be in-house at the CRC providing free health screens to Crestview area community members. Health screens include vision tests\, blood glucose level tests\, weight and BMI measurements\, blood pressure checks\, and more. The Northwest Florida Health Council provides this screen free of charge\, but if you need further treatment\, NWFLHC will work with community members and their budgets to get them the healthcare they need. DESCRIPTION:If you or someone you know is in need of a few basic computer skills\, or if you’re interested in expanding your computer knowledge\, the CRC invites you to join our staff every Wednesday from 11:00am to 12:00pm for a free computer class that will cover basic or beginner computer concepts. The computer class covers how to turn a computer on\, sign up for email\, access the internet\, use a keyboard and mouse\, and more. An open question portion of the class allows students of all ages to ask specific questions about a variety of computer issues or skills. This class is ideal for older individuals who are feeling overwhelmed with changing technology and need a hands-on approach to learning how to use a computer.
