DESCRIPTION:LSF Head Start enrollment is going on now and through the month of August at the Crestview Resource & Community Development Center. Parents and guardians can enroll their children under the age of 5 in the Head Start program\, a national program designed to provide early education intervention for families in vulnerable communities. Parents/guardians will need to provide the following documents in order to enroll children in the Head Start program: \n\nProof of residency\nBirth certificate for the child(ren)\nProof of income for the past 52 weeks\nPhoto ID of parent/guardian\nProof of disability of child(ren)\, if applicable\n\nLSF Head Start will be available every Tuesday in August starting on August 12th\, from 10:30am to 1:20pm to walk parents and guardians through the enrollment process. DESCRIPTION:If you or someone you know is in need of a few basic computer skills\, or if you’re interested in expanding your computer knowledge\, the CRC invites you to join our staff every Wednesday from 11:00am to 12:00pm for a free computer class that will cover basic or beginner computer concepts. The computer class covers how to turn a computer on\, sign up for email\, access the internet\, use a keyboard and mouse\, and more. An open question portion of the class allows students of all ages to ask specific questions about a variety of computer issues or skills. This class is ideal for older individuals who are feeling overwhelmed with changing technology and need a hands-on approach to learning how to use a computer.
