Shelter House: Penny for Your Thoughts – Teen Financial Empowerment Course

Participants will learn valuable life skills including budgeting, saving, understanding debit and credit cards, navigating the job application and interview process, and protecting themselves from scams, fraud, and financial abuse. The course is designed to equip young women with the knowledge they need to make informed financial decisions for their future.

Attendees can also enjoy free food while participating in this engaging and educational program.

In addition to offering this course, Shelter House provides safe, confidential, and complimentary services for survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, and abuse, including support for their children and pets. Community members seeking safety, support, or additional resources are encouraged to connect with Shelter House representatives at the Crestview Resource Center.
