Florida Department of Health
LSNF is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing free civil legal assistance to low-income individuals and families. They offer a wide range of services including family law, housing, public benefits, consumer law, and elder law. Their mission is to ensure access to justice for those who cannot afford legal representation, helping to protect their rights and improve their quality of life.
Tri-County Community Council
Tri-County Community Council, Inc. is dedicated to helping people help themselves by providing a wide range of community services. Based in Bonifay, FL, the council offers programs aimed at low-income assistance, public transportation, and senior services. Their initiatives include the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), emergency food and shelter, and the Head Start program for early childhood education. The TCCC ensures that essential resources and support are accessible to those in need, fostering self-sufficiency and enhancing the quality of life for residents across Holmes, Walton, and Washington counties.
Emerald Coast Food Rescue
Food insecurity in Okaloosa and Walton County is not improving. The brunt of local hunger is met face-on by struggling feeding programs that rely on reduced subsidies and largely on Emerald Coast Food Rescue’s weekly deliveries. The demand for Emerald Coast Food Rescue’s operation has not decreased since COVID. Recipient feeding programs are serving more individuals every month. People cannot afford groceries. Especially large families.
Crossroads Medical Center, also known as Crossroads Center, Inc., is a non-profit organization in Okaloosa County, Florida, that provides free medical, dental, and counseling services to low-income, uninsured residents. It operates as a free clinic, meaning patients are seen by appointment and services are provided at no cost to those who qualify based on income and insurance status.
For more than 30 years LSF Head Start has been helping children in Florida learn and be prepared for kindergarten by providing no-cost early childhood education to children who may have otherwise been left behind.
Oxford Houses are rented family houses where groups of recovering individuals live together in an environment supportive to recovery from addiction. Each house is self-run and financially self-supported following a standardized system of democratic operation.
The purpose of BCI is to deliver behavioral health care services, maintain the human dignity of every client, meet community support needs, foster low-income housing, work to end homelessness in Okaloosa and Walton counties, provide primary health care services to low-income persons and families, and to continually search for empowering and innovative ways to serve our clients, patients, families, and community.
In partnership with healthcare systems, schools, community-based organizations and more, AHECs employ traditional and innovative approaches to develop and train a diverse healthcare workforce prepared to deliver culturally appropriate, high-quality, team-based care, with an emphasis on primary care for rural and underserved communities.

Early Learning Coalition of the Emerald Coast works to support children and families through early learning programs, literacy initiatives, and educational resources. Through its Rally for Reading initiative, families visiting the Crestview Resource Center are invited to browse and take home complimentary children’s books to encourage a love of reading and support early literacy development. We are grateful for this partnership and its commitment to helping children build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
Goodwill Big Bend is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals and families achieve greater economic independence through education, workforce development, career services, and job training opportunities. Through its Virtual Campus, community members can access free classes covering résumé preparation, interview skills, job search strategies, financial literacy, GED preparation, Microsoft Office training, and more. We are proud to partner with Goodwill Big Bend in connecting our community to valuable learning and career advancement resources.
