The Crestview Resource & Community Development Center, or CRC, wishes to thank Mr. Tom Hammonds for his pledge of support and his donation to our mission here in Crestview. A Crestview native and graduate of Crestview High School, Mr. Hammonds achieved widespread acclaim due to his athleticism and his character, both off and on the basketball court. For 12 NBA seasons Mr. Hammonds wowed audiences with his prowess, but eventually turned his attention to drag racing, which remains a passion of his to this day. An avid sportsman, Mr. Hammonds opened Emerald Coast Indoor Shooting & Sport in Valparaiso, FL, located just south of Crestview right here in Okaloosa County. He also spends his time developing his skills in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
We are grateful for Mr. Hammonds continued devotion and dedication to the Crestview community and his partnership in our mission here at the CRC to “let our light shine.”
